On Facebook the group Protest State Funding of the Popes visit to the UK was hacked and went down for a while. It's back up now. Somebody was upset enough to go through the trouble of trying to take the site out of action. Horray!

Ratzingers itinerary. If you are interested in going send me an PM. September 16, 2010 Day one (Thursday) – Edinburgh & Glasgow Ratzinger will be received at the Palace of Holyrood House by Her Majesty The Queen. It is thought he will travel there in the Popemobile. He will then travel to Glasgow by helicopter to celebrate a public Mass in Glasgow Green. It is thought he will then travel to London where he will spend his first night.
September 17, 2010 Day two (Friday) – London A visit to the Archbishop of Canterbury at Lambeth Palace (also expected to include other faith leaders). An address to Parliament in Westminster Hall. It is thought he is likely to repeat his criticism that the Labour Government has “restricted religious freedom in the name of equality” – i.e. prevented religious organisation from actively discriminating.
September 18, 2010 Day three (Saturday) – London A Mass at Westminster Cathedral. A prayer vigil, possibly at Hyde Park.
September 19, 2010 Day four (Sunday) – Coventry Airport A public mass at Coventry Airport to beatify Cardinal John Henry Newman.
